FAQ
Bulk email software FAQ: questions people ask before buying
Is there a free trial of Ultra Email?
Yes, and it has no time limit. Download the app and use every feature without a key. Sending is capped at 50 emails a day until you activate a licence. Simulation mode lets you run a whole campaign without sending anything.
What does the paid licence include?
A licence key removes the daily cap and includes every feature, free updates and support while it is active. It comes in three sizes (1 device on Starter, 3 on Business, 10 on Agency) and three plans: monthly, yearly or lifetime, from $29 a month, $79 a year or $199 once. Monthly and yearly licences are prepaid. Nothing renews or charges by itself: you renew from your account when you choose.
Which systems does Ultra Email run on?
Windows 10 and 11, macOS 12 or later (Apple Silicon and Intel) and Linux (AppImage). A companion app for Android is available, and an iOS app is coming. The desktop app needs internet to send, to activate your key and for a licence check at least every 14 days.
How many devices can I use one key on?
That depends on the tier: 1 device on Starter, 3 on Business, 10 on Agency. To move a key, open Help, Activate on the old device and choose Deactivate, then activate on the new one. You can move a key up to 3 times a year; if you need more, write to us.
Do I need to be online?
To send email, yes. The app also checks your licence online at least every 14 days, so connect it to the internet that often. Your contacts and campaigns stay on your computer either way.
What happens when an Ultra Email licence ends?
Lifetime licences have no end date. For monthly and yearly licences, we email you a renewal reminder before the end date and the app shows a reminder bar. Renew from your account on this site and the same key is extended, with any time you had left kept. If you do not renew, sending pauses on the end date; your contacts and campaigns stay safe.
What is the Ultra Email refund policy?
You have 15 days from purchase to ask for your money back, no questions asked. See the refund policy for how it works.
Do I need a separate email sending service?
No. Ultra Email sends through accounts you already have: Gmail, Microsoft 365, Outlook.com, Yahoo, iCloud, Zoho, your own domain mailbox on Hostinger or cPanel, or relays such as Amazon SES, SendGrid, Brevo and Mailgun. Each provider's own daily limits still apply. See the SMTP servers page for how the options compare.
Will my emails reach the inbox?
That depends on your sending accounts, your domain's SPF, DKIM and DMARC setup, your list quality and your content, not on the app. Ultra Email helps with rotation, rate limits and automatic unsubscribe handling, and its tools check your setup, but nobody can promise inbox placement.
Where is my data stored?
On your own computer. Use Tools, Back up data to save everything to a single file. The backup contains your sender passwords, so keep it somewhere safe.
Can I use it to email purchased or scraped lists?
No, and it is not built for that. The Email Collector only extracts addresses from files and text you already own, and every message carries an unsubscribe link. Our acceptable use policy requires that you only email people who agreed to hear from you.
How do open and click counts work?
Ultra Email adds a tracking pixel and rewrites links, served by a small tracking server inside the app. For real recipients to reach it you set a public tracking URL in Settings → Automatic. Without one, sending works but opens and clicks are only recorded on the same computer. Opens are an estimate because some mail apps block or preload images.
I used Bulk Email before. Is this the same app?
Yes. Ultra Email is the new name of the same app. On first start it copies your old contacts, senders and campaigns, and your existing key keeps working.
Where do I get my Ultra Email licence key?
Straight after payment it appears on this site and Code Craft emails it to you. You can also sign in to My account with your email and a one-time code at any time. Open the app, go to Help, then Activate, and paste the key.
How is payment handled?
At checkout you choose PayGlocal (Visa and Mastercard, for customers outside India), Razorpay (UPI, netbanking and Amex card, only for customers in India) or NOWPayments (crypto, for everyone), and pay on that provider's secure page. Prices are in US dollars, or in Indian rupees on Razorpay. Ultra Email is a product of Code Craft, which takes the payment.
Is Ultra Email related to UltraMailer?
No. Ultra Email is made by Code Craft and is not affiliated with UltraMailer or any other email software vendor.
How do I get help with Ultra Email?
Use the contact form or email contact@ultraemailer.org. Support is included for as long as your licence is active.
