SMSGatewayHub bulk SMS setup for Ultra SMS

An Indian bulk SMS panel with transactional, promotional, OTP and international channels.

What Ultra SMS asks for

Values to copy from SMSGatewayHub
API keySMSGatewayHub panel, API Settings.
ChannelTransactional or service, Promotional, OTP or International.
Route ID (optional)Only if your account uses one.
Sender ID, Entity ID and template IDYour 6-character DLT header, DLT Entity ID and template ID. The text must match the template exactly.

Steps

  1. Sign in to your SMSGatewayHub panel and open API Settings.
  2. Copy the APIKey. If you restrict it to IP addresses, the device running Ultra SMS must send from one of them.
  3. Have your DLT Entity ID, 6-character header and template ID ready.
  4. In Ultra SMS open the Gateways tab, click Add gateway, choose SMSGatewayHub, and paste the key, pick the channel and fill in the DLT details. Click Test credentials (it sends nothing).
  5. Send a test message to your own phone before you start a campaign.

Good to know

  • Sending to Indian numbers needs DLT registration: your Entity ID, an approved sender ID (header) and the Template ID of an approved content template. Ultra SMS has fields for all three. See the India DLT chapter of the manual.

Before you send through SMSGatewayHub

Sending to Indian numbers needs DLT registration whichever gateway you use: your entity, approved sender IDs and approved templates, added to Ultra SMS so each message carries them. SMSGatewayHub charges per message segment at its own rates, so check the segment counter and the cost estimate before you start. Use Test credentials first, then send one real test to your own phone.

Dashboards change their menus from time to time; if a label differs, look for the API keys or developer section. Stuck? See the Ultra SMS troubleshooting table, the Ultra SMS user guide, or contact us.
